Requirements

The latest stable version of Shoot is 1.6.4. These are the prerequistes for running the current version of the program:

• Windows 98/ME/2000/XP
• A SAPI 5.1-compatible speech recognition engine, such as the one shipped with M$ Office XP. You can download it here (35 mb) or directly from Microsoft.
  
• Microsoft .NET Framework (23 mb).
  
• Microsoft DirectX 8.1 or better. You will most likely have this piece of software already installed if you're planning to use Shoot with a modern game or if you're running Windows XP.

• Shoot 1.6.3 (213 kb).
• Shoot 1.6 (200 kb). Download this if you already have the .NET Framework and speech recognition engine installed, or if you'd rather download those files separately.
• Shoot 1.6 + .NET Framework + SR engine (52 mb). Download this if you are not sure whether you have the .NET Framework and speech recognition engine installed, or if you'd rather not go through the hassle of installing them manually.
• Shoot Profile Editor 1.5 Beta (221 kb). Download this tool for help in the creation of Shoot XML profiles.
